Dentist for Clifton Park, NY Patients in Saratoga Springs
About 20 minutes up the Northway. Conservative, fee-for-service care from Dr. Richard L. Dennis, DMD, a single-doctor practice that Clifton Park families choose when they want unhurried treatment planning and honest cost conversations up front.
We do not chase volume.
We do not chase insurance reimbursement.
We do not shortcut a treatment plan.
Why Clifton Park patients choose us:
A single doctor for the whole family
Dr. Dennis is the only dentist at Saratoga Smiles. Grandparents, parents, and teens see the same clinician every visit.
Conservative treatment planning
Extraction is a last resort, not a default. We try to save the natural tooth first.
Fee-for-service transparency
No in-network games. You see the fee, you see the plan, you decide before we start.
3D CBCT imaging before implants
Every implant case gets a cone-beam scan and bone plan so the quote reflects your anatomy, not a brochure average.
Word-of-mouth referrals
Clifton Park is a referral community. When neighbors keep naming the same dentist, that is usually why new patients call.
Multi-generational patient care
Families schedule back-to-back appointments so one trip up handles everyone.
Services for Clifton Park Patients
Every service is available on the same schedule as Saratoga Springs patients. No wait list. No separate track.
Dental implants. Single-tooth, multi-tooth, and All-on-4 full-arch cases. 3D CBCT and bone planning before we quote any implant case. See our implants hub, All-on-4, and single-tooth implants.
Cosmetic dentistry. Veneers, bonding, and full smile makeovers. Conservative first. If bonding can achieve what veneers can, we say so. See cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening.
Invisalign and clear aligners. Full clear-aligner cases, teen and adult. See clear aligners.
Sedation dentistry. Oral sedation for anxious patients or long appointments. If dental anxiety has kept you from care, this is often what unlocks it. See sedation dentistry.
Restorative care. Crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and fillings. See restorative dentistry, dental crowns, dental bridges, and root canal therapy.
General dentistry. Exams, cleanings, gum health, tooth-colored fillings, extractions when unavoidable. See general dentistry.

Clifton Park families do not have to choose between good dentistry and a manageable drive. Saratoga Springs is 20 minutes up the Northway, and we book Clifton Park patients on the same schedule as everyone else.
Being fee-for-service means we plan treatment around what your mouth actually needs, not around a reimbursement grid.

Yes. Our new patient intake takes about a week. Call (518) 584-5060 or request an appointment online. Emergency cases are seen sooner.
We are fee-for-service and out-of-network with every dental insurance plan. If you have PPO out-of-network benefits, we bill directly and you pay the difference. For HMO-only plans, all care is out-of-pocket. We tell you before treatment starts what to expect.
Call (518) 584-5060 as early in the day as you can. We hold time each day for same-day emergencies. If it is after hours and you have a knocked-out tooth, severe swelling reaching the eye, or fever with pain, go to the nearest ER. Otherwise, we will see you first thing.
Yes. Many Clifton Park families schedule back-to-back appointments so one trip up handles everyone. We see teenagers and adults; kids under 8 are usually better served by a pediatric practice.
Yes. Oral sedation for most anxious patients, plus IV sedation for longer or more complex cases. If dental anxiety has kept you from care for years, that is exactly what sedation dentistry is for.
Routine cleanings usually book 4 to 6 weeks out. Consults for implants or larger cosmetic work usually 2 to 3 weeks. Emergencies are same-day.
That is welcome and expected. We give you your treatment plan in writing. Take it, sit with it, get another opinion, come back. There is no decision on the spot at Saratoga Smiles.
